Pilot Chased UFO, Saw It Crash, Visited Crash Site

Speaking on the Jeff Rense show, retired Colonel Robert B. Willingham admitted chasing a UFO across West Texas in his fighter jet, seeing it crash-land near Del Rio, Texas, and then visiting the crash site later that same day in 1955. The former pilot is convinced that the crashed object was extraterrestrial.

UFO: Alien artifacts discovered underneath crop circles
UFO News and Stories

Alien Artifacts found under Crop Circles

In one famous case, a series of three metal plates were found buried deeply under a large crop picture from Grasdorf, Germany in 1991, by a researcher with a metal detector. Each plate showed a detailed image of the crop picture which had just appeared above. One plate was made from gold, another from silver, and another from bronze.

3 Metal discs found in the Grasdorf Pictogram, Germany 1991

The farmer Werner Harenberg woke up early in the morning of July 23 1991 to discover Germany's first really spectacular crop circle near the village of Grasdorf, Lower Saxony in the historic Teutoburger Wald Area, not far from Hannover, and indeed not far from the prehistoric site of Externsteine, part natural rock, part carvings, caves and bearing various signs of what seems like long and varied religious practices; and seeing that the straws were unbroken, as it were, harmoniously bended, he stated as much as that it could not have been made by amateurs such as had recently allegedly been at play further north in Schleswig-Holstein. Taking advice from the experience of landowners there he charged visitors five DM three Euro.

UFO: Zeta Reticuli Exchange Program
UFO News and Stories

Consultant Bill Ryan, retired US Military Intelligence Officer Richard Doty, and author Whitley Strieber all discussed Project Serpo, an alleged secret exchange program of 12 military personnel to Serpo, a planet of Zeta Reticuli, between the years 1965-78. Ryan explained that he is a participant in a private ufology email forum and that in early November 2005, an "anonymous" contributor began revealing information about the Serpo Project, which Ryan has subsequently chronicled on his website serpo.org.

Two other sources have also come forward, and all three are supposedly retired employees of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), said Ryan, who added there is a total of 3,000 pages of information on the project that is being released in installments. According to the "anonymous" source, Serpo is an Earth-sized planet with a population of around 650,000 "ebens" (our name for the ETs).An eben who allegedly survived the Roswell crash was said to have used a communication device to set up the exchange. Of the 12 who went on the exchange, eight returned (though all have since died), two died on Serpo, and two remained there. Ryan believes the story has credibility partially because some of the physics don't add up, and if someone was fabricating it, they would have presented more consistent details.

UFO: Jackie Gleason Close Encounter with Alien Artifacts
UFO News and Stories

Jackie Gleason's UFO Encounter
By Bill Knell

Jackie Gleason will always be remembered as one of America’s greatest comedy talents. Born in Brooklyn, New York City, I guess you could say that he was a graduate of the school of hard knocks. Maybe that’s why he always seemed to work harder the everyone else. When it come time for him to get a show on TV, he wanted to own it! Unheard of in the days of early TV, Gleason often penned deals that allowed him to produce most of his own shows.

Everything Gleason did, he did with great passion. Every script for the TV shows had to be just the way he envisioned it. No one was ever allowed to step out of character. Camera shots and angles were always set up the way he wanted them. The passion also extended into his personal life. Fascinated by Flying Saucers and the unexplained, he ultimately assembled one of the world’s greatest parapsychology, UFO and occult libraries. The bulk of it resides today at the University of Miami Library.

In 1982 I was a guest on a talk show at a Miami radio station. The subject was UFOs and the Paranormal. After the show, I was handed a note by the receptionist. This often happened when I did radio guest spots because some people preferred to share their own UFO or Paranormal experience with me off the air. While walking to my car, I took a quick look at the note. It said, “Please call Mister Gleason at….” When I arrived back at my hotel room, I called the number, asked for Mister Gleason and gave my name. An assistant got on the phone and informed me that Jackie Gleason wanted to speak to me, if possible, the next day at a Fort Lauderdale location. Needless to say, I accepted the invitation!

The meeting location was a bar at the Jolly Roger Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. Now I don’t know if Gleason owned the hotel or merely had friends there, but after stopping by the front desk, I was escorted to a small bar that was closed to the public at that time of day. Gleason sat at a table like a king holding court, but looked older and weaker then I had imagined he would. I wondered why Gleason hadn’t met me in any one of his favorite Miami haunts, but it may have been that this was supposed to be a low profile event. Either way, I knew that Gleason was a serious guy who hated small talk and I wasn’t about to ruffle his feathers.

After a brief handshake, Gleason asked me a number of questions about my UFO and Paranormal investigations. We talked for about an hour and a half. Actually, he asked questions and I answered them. “You know I get your newsletter,” he said knowingly. “Good stuff!” He was especially interested in articles that covered the topic of crashed UFOs. At that time a lot of buzz had been created by former military officers who had begun to speak of their involvement with the cover-up of UFO crashes.

Out of the blue, Gleason told me how that Richard Nixon was a good friend of his. He had supported Nixon in every possible way during his successful bid for the Presidency in 1968. In 1971, Jackie Gleason attended a small White House dinner. After dinner, Gleason spoke privately with Nixon. He asked the President if there was anything that Nixon could tell him about UFOs? Were they real? Were they Alien Spacecraft? According to Gleason, Nixon told him, “Well Jackie, if you can arrange to arrive at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa sometime in the next few days, I’ll arrange to have you shown some things that may help answer your questions!”

Gleason arrived in Tampa, Florida, a day and a half later. After calling a phone number provided to him by someone on Nixon’s staff, he headed out to MacDill AFB. After arriving on the base, he was taken to a dark colored building that appeared to be some sort of storage facility. Once inside, he had to pass through several levels of security. Finally, Gleason was escorted into a large room where some strange debris lay on the floor. An officer told him, “This material is from Roswell.” No emotion, just a matter of fact statement.

The officer handed Gleason a small piece which seemed almost weightless and very flexible. Just then, a light came on in the center part of the room. Jackie was astonished to see what looked like a large piece of a broken disc just floating a few feet above the floor. Warned not to approach it, Gleason still got an eyeful. But the surprises weren’t over!

After just a few minutes, Gleason was escorted to another room. Three containers with glass plates for viewing greeted him. “These were the occupants found near the object you just saw.” Again, with little emotion, the officer gave Jackie a one sentence description that spoke volumes. The beings were about four to five feet tall. Two of the bodies were badly damaged, but one was in very good shape. As Gleason looked at it, the officer said, “This one died later.” It had large oval eyes, grayish skin and looked male. “Are they all males?” Gleason asked the officer. “Your guess is as good as ours.” He answered Jackie with a slight smile. It was time to go.

The experience of seeing the object and bodies affected Gleason more then he first realized. Although he had a hit variety show on CBS, Jackie walked away from everything for a few years to study more about UFOs and the Paranormal. It wasn’t until 1975 that he went back to work in a meaningful way.

If Gleason was affected by the experience he had, I was affected by his description of it! I met Jackie Gleason one more time at his New York estate. I didn’t bring a camera on either occasion because appearing with celebrities wasn’t what I was or am about. I was more interested in what Gleason, with millions of dollars to spend o the Paranormal, had learned about it. As things turned out, it was being owed a favor that brought him what he desired most. I just wish that he had brought a camera when he got to meet what may be the greatest celebrities on the earth, dead or living!

Note: Beverly McKittrick, Gleason’s ex-wife, later wrote a book about him which included what he told her about his trip to MacDill.

Editors Note: Bill Knell used to have a drawing by Gleason of some of the artifacts he saw, viewable online with his story. Unfortunately, you can only see it now if you buy one of Mr. Knell's many bootleg videos, if at all. Mr. Knells credibility has come into question as of late as well. I post this story for you to evaluate since Gleason may have actually seen a key piece of the U.S. UFO history.

UFO: U.S. Launched Nuke at UFO over Canada in 1968
UFO News and Stories

Sometime in 1968 the United States OF America launched a nuclear missile at a UFO somewhere over Canada
Provided by someone who was there, and doesn't want his identity revealed till after his death

Source, ex-military man

Around 1968 a B52 was launched from the alert facility at KI Sawyer with the normal payload. I was ground crew. When it returned 1 hound dog was missing. I overheard the aircrew talking they had fired the missle at a ufo and it had been deflected and had'nt detonated. This happened in Canadian Air Space. The crew had to have permission of the president to fire. The entire crew accidently died in seperate unrelated accidents within 6 months. Draw your own conclusions. Did you know that the US Navy has had an ongoing UFO investigation for at least 25 years? They also investigate unknown underwater phenomena Similar to UFO's

From the Editor A hound dog missile is an old Nuclear armed cruse missile. The president would not have to have been in the loop if it wasn't nuclear. While the individual making the above report believes the entire crew died from unrelated accidents a even more frightening possibility is that they died from Gamma Flash from a nuclear detonation and that the deaths were cover stories. This person does not want his name revealed until after his death. Above the actual email clip. I have talked to this person and he seems credible.

UFO: Mt. Shasta, California Camping Trip And UFOs
UFO News and Stories

Mt. Shasta, California Camping Trip And UFOs
By Joseph Held

In the summer of 1989 I took my wife and three children camping by Mt. Shasta. One evening while sitting by the camp fire I mentioned that even the old timers from the area would say that there is some kind of base or city within the mountain, as I had talked to many locals in the area because I was in the process of moving up to the area. I had promised the family that we would most likely see some UFO activity if we kept our eyes open. Sure enough, no sooner had I said this, we noticed three separate bright lights buzzing around some nearby mountain tops.

My teenage daughter and I decided to walk up a path to higher ground to continue watching these lights. The lights zipped from one place to another, would stop, hover, then zip to another area. Then, out of no where, a large triangular UFO with lights at each point, and a bright light in the middle appeared from the direction of Mt. Shasta and hovered about 1000 ft directly above my daughter and me. The next thing any of us remember is being back at the camp site. We didn't talk about the incident at all for some reason unknown to us. You could say we all were in some kind of a stupor. We didn't mention it at all until several years later when sitting at the table having coffee together, for some reason my daughter remembered the experience. At this time we got into an in-depth discussion of it trying to recall all that had happened. We were amazed at ourselves for not remembering it at the time, and would have been very excited indeed, if not frightened, to say the least, at the time this occurred.

This is only one experience of many that myself, and my family have gone through. At other times, they actually let me know that they have been there, but for what reason? It is like they are taunting me. They don't share any info, and they don't ask our permission.

UFO: Did aliens visit Odisha in 1947?
UFO News and Stories

Kolkata: Just a couple of months ahead of India's Independence in 1947, an UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) was reported to have landed in Odisha's Nayagrah district.

Rejected as fanciful stories by many, traces of the incident buried under the pages of the country's tumultuous history during the period, have been preserved in the form of traditional palm-leaf engravings by a local artist.

Depicting the long-forgotten stories of 'yantra-purusha' (alien robot-like creatures), pieces of those rare engravings have now been published in 'The Obliterary Journal' (Blaft Publications) in between its collection of comics, street art and illustration.

Award-winning 'pattachitra' artist Pachanana Moharana, who runs a workshop in Puri, had made sketches of the alien visitors and their spacecraft which was claimed to have landed in a hilly area of Nayagarh on May, 31, 1947.

Interestingly, only a month later this incident, a mysterious crash was famously reported near Roswell, New Mexico. In the most well-publicised and most controversial of all "UFO sightings" anywhere in the world, the US Air Force had once claimed to have captured a flying saucer from the spot but contradicted it later on.

Moharana's art works are said to be based on the first- hand accounts of two young people who were invited into the spacecraft and given a sort of tour.

If local tales are to be believed, the book says that after the return of the aliens and the spacecraft's departure, the youths sat with a well-known 'tala pattachitra' artist and gave careful descriptions of the beings they had met inside - a variety of rather anthropomorphic robots, or perhaps, creatures in metal suits.

These descriptions were subsequently passed down to the original artist students, and their students, for 60 years.

One of the palm-leaf engravings shows the 'yantra-purusha' wearing spacesuit with pincer-like hands rising as if offering a blessing.

Hemispherical devices protruding from the head of the aliens are a recurring feature in many of the engravings. Some aliens appear to have ball-shaped hands while others are shown with five-fingered hands.

Edited by Rakesh Khanna, the book rues that the Nayagarh incident remains barely studied or publicised, in India or anywhere else, even as the last few people who claimed to have been eyewitnesses die out.

"The ensuing violent and chaotic, migrations, the heady debate surrounding the future of the new independent nation, the possibility of Adivasi rebellion against the rajas, and the tumultuous years-long political process of integrating the feudary states into the state of Odisha combined to completely eclipse any press that the fantastical reports from the countryside might have otherwise generated," says the book.

The sole exception is a single-paragraph mention in a Berhampur Odiya-language weekly dated June 15, two weeks after the event, in which the anonymous reporter takes a tone fairly dripping with scorn for "the overactive imaginations of the villagers".

However, the 'tala pattachitra' have been sold for decades in small numbers and without fanfare to curious tourists and art collectors outside the famous temples of Puri district.

"As the skeptics would have it, they might be nothing more than fanciful novelty items based on a colourful local tall tale. On the other hand, they might be the most accurate extant record of humanity’s first contact with an extraterrestrial civilisation," says the book.

UFO: 45 Year Old New Zealand Navy Photo Shows UFO
UFO News and Stories

New Zealand: More than 40 years after an official Defence Force photographer snapped an image of the navy cruiser Royalist, debate is raging over the unidentified flying object in the background.

The print is believed to have languished since being taken in February 1965, but a plan to display it by the Devonport Navy Museum has sparked speculation about the mystery object. UFO expert Peter Hassall, who wrote a book on the subject in New Zealand, is excited by this previously unreported sighting.

The image was captured by the photographer on large-format black and white negative film shot from the cruiser's wing bridge as it approached what looks like Cape Brett in Bay of Islands. The Royalist was on its way back from Waitangi celebrations in February 1965.

It was first spotted by museum staff member Paul Restall as he was assembling images for the museum's new website.

He checked the negative on a light table and called in digital imaging expert Hans Weichselbaum to perform a high resolution scan. This established that the object was part of the original image.

Museum director David Wright said there was nothing to explain what it was.

The object appeared to be some distance in front of the ship and none of the sailors working on the bow was taking any notice, as would be expected if something was going on.

He said it looked to be too distant to be a dinner plate thrown from the bridge and the same would apply to a clay pigeon used as a shooting target. The angle of the object and absence of visible lines suggested it was not a parachute. So what is it?

"We're not saying it's a UFO," Mr Wright said. "It is just one of those interesting things we came across."

Museum staff did not have the time to hunt down former crew members who might be able to solve the mystery but "if people are interested in it and want to pursue its provenance we'll assist them", Mr Wright said.

Mr Hassall said it was an intriguing photo. His first thought was that it might be a flaw on the negative but, if that was the case, it was an unusual one.

"It is a very interesting image and the classic dome shape that's often reported." However, he is mystified that the photograph has never been reported before.

The object looked to be in front of the ship and at least as big as a rubbish tin lid – too heavy for somebody to have thrown it that high.

He was also intrigued that nobody on the deck was looking up – "If somebody had thrown it up you'd expect everybody to be looking up at it."

However, Carter Observatory senior astronomer Brian Carter disagrees.

He said that when the object was enlarged it had a sharp edge to it. Under the same enlargement, the edge of the cliff on the right and the bow of the ship were not that sharp, he said.

That suggested the object was quite close and therefore quite small.

He believed it was something thrown from the bridge or some other part of the ship.

UFO: The UFO Encounters of Alexander the Great
UFO News and Stories

The first recorded incident regarding Alexander the Great and UFO's was recorded in 329BC. Alexander decided to invade India and was attempting to cross the river Indus to engage the Indian army when "gleaming silver shields" swooped down and made several passes over the battle.

These "gleaming silver shields" had the effect of startling his cavalry horses, causing them to stampede. They also had a similar effect on the enemies' horses and elephants so it was difficult to ascertain whose side these "gleaming silver shields" were on. Nevertheless, after exiting the battle victoriously Alexander decided to not proceed any further into India.

Seven years later Alexander was confronted with the greatest challenge of his military career. In his attempt to conquer the Persian Empire he realized that the city of Tyre needed to be captured in order to prevent the Persians from using that port to land an army behind him.

The original coastal city of Tyre had been destroyed before and had been rebuilt some distance offshore from its original site. Having no navy, Alexander decided to use the remains of the old city to build a causeway to the new one.

It took Alexander six full months to do this and when the task was completed and his troops staged their assault they were easily rebuffed because the walls were too high to quickly scale and too thick to batter down. Not only that but the causeway was too narrow to allow sufficient troops to launch a massive enough attack to overwhelm the enemy in order to scale the walls.

Not only was this a problem for Alexander but apparently a problem for God as well. Both the prophets Ezekiel and Isaiah had spoken of Gods' curse and eventual destruction of Tyre. (Ezekiel Chapters 27 & 28 and Isaiah Chapter 23). How was Alexander going to achieve his goal? How was God going to ensure that His prophecy would be fulfilled?

The historical account, recorded by Alexander’s chief historian, states that, during an attack of the island city, one of two 'gleaming silver shields' attacked a section of the wall with a 'beam of light' which subsequently caused that section of the wall to fall! Alexander’s' men poured through the opening and captured the city.

What is so noteworthy about this encounter is the fact that the historians for the defeated people of Tyre reported the exact same reason for the loss of their city! Usually, the reason given by a defeated people is different than that given by the victors, but in this instance their accounts read the same.

Before he started his major offensive against Persia Alexander sought the advice of an oracle in a temple located in the desert. He set off, with a small party of men, but miscalculated the logistics and found himself hopelessly out of water and dying of thirst.

Almost miraculously, a rare, but unusually strong rain cloud burst overhead and gave him and his men sufficient water to safely complete their journey. No one reported seeing any 'gleaming silver shields' but here again is a case of a wondrous "cloud" that we see so many occurrences of in the Bible.

Giant UFO seen by four thousand villagers in China

Michael Cohen m.cohen@allnewsweb.com

A UFO/Alien event has taken place in China that is being hailed by some scientists as irrefutable evidence that Earth is occasionally visited by alien beings.

A mass UFO sighting took place during the evening in mid-April of this year in the village of Laohekou in Hubei Province. According to media reports, villagers were woken up by intense bright lights and rushed outside to see a giant, seemingly unearthly craft hovering no more than fifty meters above rooftops. Some witnesses described the craft as consisting of two enormous glowing spheres rotating around one larger static sphere. Other locals described the objects as egg shaped. The entire entity lunged from side to side in an irregular manner before vanishing into the night sky. Witnesses also noted that the object was emitting some kind of substance resembling fairy floss or cotton. Reporters from around China rushed to interview stunned villagers the next day. Local aviation, meteorological and military authorities have confirmed that the object was not a human craft and have promised to investigate.

UFO: Doctor says aliens took her on a UFO
UFO News and Stories

( A text file from the archives 1986)

By: David A. Maurer
of The Progress Staff

What dr. rauni-leena luukanen saw outside her living room window,
nearly four years ago, scared her more than death threats and angry
soldiers waving machine guns at her.

the sight she now refers to "as the shock of my life," occurred during
august 1986. she and a friend were enjoying a quiet evening fogether at
her home on the outskirts of rovaniemi, lapland.

"in an open field, about 100 meters from my home, i saw a large craft,
illuminated in a yellow glow, hovering about 20 or 30 meters above the
ground," she said. "i yelled for my friend to look, and she saw it,
too." this sighting and the subsequent events that follow have altered
luukanen's entire perception of the world, she said.

a physician, luukanen served as the chief medical officer in lapland
for 13 years. she describes herself as a "very down to earth, no-
nosense-type person."

"in my medical practice, i've worked with the boat people in malaysia
and had machine guns pointed at me and have been threatened with
death," said luukanen during a visit to a friend in charlottesville
before attending a conference on unidentified flying objects in
blacksburg.

"but, i have never been so terribly shocked and scared before in my
life," she said. "i think i got so frightened because, when i saw it, i
knew that i was seeing something from another world or dimension. it
was very big, about one hundred meters in diameter.

"it stayed in one place hovering for perhaps fifteen minutes. after it
was gone, i convinced myself that it was the moon or something, and i
tried to forget about it."

before the sighting, luukanen said she was as skeptical as most people
when it comes to the subject of ufos. but, the following day, she found
it hard to rationalize what she saw.

"the newspaper had a story about the sighting the night before and
about 100 other people had seen it," luukanen said. "two days later,
officials at the local air force base said that it had been a soviet
rocket. i really got scared then because a rocket doesn't hover for
fifteen minutes."

recorded sightings of ufos go back thousands of years, but the modern
era of ufo sightings is considered to have began on june 24, 1947. on
that date businessman and pilot, kenneth arnold, from boise, idaho,
reported seeing a formation of nine objects flying at a high speed
around the peaks of the cascade mountains in washinton state.

he described them as "shiny, disc-shaped craft," and said he clocked
their speed at about 1,350 mph. this was months before air force pilot
chuck yeager would break the sound barrier at a mere 741.8 mph.

when arnold described what he saw to reporters: "they flew like a
saucer would if you skipped it across water," he inadvertently coined
the now-common term for ufos-"flying saucers."

during the following weeks, scores of other sightings were reported,
not only by ordinary people, but military and civilian airline4 pilots
as well. these events received heavy coverage in the media and perhaps
fueled the imaginations of many who reported sightings during the
ensuing weeks.

nonetheless, in january of 1948, the u.s. air force began a study on
ufos that would last for 22 years. the first name for the investigation
was "project sign." the name was changed to "project grudge," and
finally to "project blue book."

by the time the investigative project officially ended in december
1969,, it had 12,783 cases of ufo incidents on file. of these, air
force officials said 701 couldn't be explained.

even more disturbing than seeing a ufo is being taken aboard one. in
an apparently recent phenomenon, people report that they have been
abducted by alien beings and taken onto ufos. luukanen numbers herself
among the hundreds of individuals who say they've been abducted by
beings from another planet.

the conference that brought luukanen to virginia was held in
blacksburg recently and it dealt with these alleged abductions. the
first conference of this kind was held in connecticut in may of 1989.

the blacksburg conference was called treat ii-treatment and research
on experienced anomalous trauma. attendance was by invitation only and
was said to include physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists and ufo
experts, among others.

"in november, 1986, i was attending the annual parapsycology
conference in basel, switzerland," luukanen said. "during one of the
meetings, a large group of us were hypnotized, and as soon as i went
into a hypnotic state, i saw the sky and a ufo coming toward me.

"i was totally surprised by this, and didn't know what it meant. i
didn't tell anyone about it because it just seemed too bizarre.

"that afternoon we were hypnotized abain, and it began to happen all
over," luukanen said. "after the second time, i told the whole group
and they were as surprised as i was."

luukanen said after these two initial revelations, she underwent other
hypnosis sessions in which she remembered the events in more details.

"i was on a table like the type you will find in operating rooms,"
luukanen said. "there were three or four little ones around the table,
and they looked to be about one meter high. they had no hair, big eyes
and a grayish brown skin or covering like a diver's suit.

"i was paralyzed, but i could think and communicate telepathically
with them," she said. "they worked with hazy instruments that put off a
white beam of light and also a bluish violet color. at one point, they
took a long needle-like instrument and inserted it in my lower abdomen.
as a doctor, i know where they put it would give them access to my
ovaries."

luukanen said after she remembered her ordeal, she found a small scar
she believes was caused by the needle. she said the aliens didn't
appear to express any emotions and that they went about their task with
a detachment that reminded her of dissecting rats in medical school.

"my conviction is that they don't want to harm us or upset us
psychologically," luukanen said. "i think that's why the memory of the
episode is taken away. but when most people remember, it's very
traumatic. one of the main purposes of the conference is to learn how
to treat and deal with these people who have been abducted."

luukanen said she is convinced that what she said happened to her
really did. she said her gut feeling is the earth is being prepared to
be taken into the largercommunity of the universe.

"i have a feeling of responsibility now to inform people that we are
not alone in the universe," luukanen said. "the question in my mind is
not whether or not they exist, but "how do we deal with them?"

UFO: Schizophrenia and UFOs
UFO News and Stories

Copyright 2012, InterAmerica, Inc

Prominent UFO commentator Ray Dickenson has been denigrating psychiatry over at UFO UpDates lately.

He’s provided a salvo that says schizophrenia isn’t real and he’s been chastised by a few more realistic UpDate habitués.

Schizophrenia, as those who are truly familiar with psychiatry and psychology generally know, is a real, authentic mental condition, defined and studied by eminent scholars of the mind for many years.

One can find material online that clarifies the severe aberration, and I suggest The Psychiatric Dictionary [Fourth Edition] edited by Leland E. Hinsie, M.D. and Robert J. Campbell, M.D. (Oxford University Press, NY/London, Pages 678 ff.) for a concise presentation of schizophrenia and its many manifestations.

Some UFO encounters presented here take place, as I see it, in the realm of the mind, as a temporary schizophrenic “reality” sometimes designated as a folie à deux or folie à trois et cetera.

Such events are stimulated by various factors – environment, psychological or physical stress, drug or alcohol use, chemical imbalances in the body, or even by Jose Caravaca’s “external agent” (which has a psychical component, if I understand his view correctly).

Schizophrenia is complex yet real as the literature about it proves to the reasoned thinker.

But does schizophrenia account for all or even many UFO accounts and sightings? Not by a long shot. Such an accusation would be more lunatic than schizophrenia itself.

However, some UFO accounts may be attributed to schizophrenic episodes, which are real to the participants when they occur but intangible and bizarre to outsiders when presented afterwards:

The Hills abduction, the Travis Walton incident, The Pascagoula moment, the Italian Lotti encounter, and even the Rendlesham episode (which is a case of Induced Schizophrenia perhaps), among others that readers here are familiar with.

Of course, events as Roswell or the RB-47 event are not schizophrenic in nature, although some aspects of the aftermath may be.

The Washington D.C. sightings of 1952 were not schizophrenic in nature either, but the 1942 L.A. shooting of a UFO contained elements of schizophrenia (or mass hysteria) within it.

The problem with Mr. Dickenson’s “outburst” at UpDates and his detractors is that their views are intellectually simplistic or cursory.

UFOs are phenomenally diverse (phenomena, despite Jerry Clark’s aversion to the plural).

Some UFO accounts – and we don’t mean the UFO reports that follow – are neurological, some psychological in nature, and some are actual observations of a sensory reality – not a psychological reality but a real visual or mental reality, of a thing or things with tangibility, by which I don’t necessarily mean a nuts and bolts reality, although to exclude that possibility would be remiss also.

The UFOs – the things designated as such in the common parlance, the lingua franca, as it were, of media and society at large – are a facet of reality that has more than just a psychiatric component to their observation; they have, in some case (maybe many cases) a reality that transcends everyday reality but a reality nevertheless, despite what some would wish to be otherwise.

UFO: NASA Cover up - Orbs and UFOs in Official Videos
UFO News and Stories

Did Nasa cover up mysterious 'orbs' that flew past shuttle mission? Newly uncovered video clearly shows unknown objects 'buzzing' Shuttle Atlantis

  • Orbs move around the shuttle, appearing to be in formation
  • Ground control dismiss them as 'reflections on the camera lens'

By TED THORNHILL

To the ground control commentator on Nasa’s live public feed, they’re merely ‘reflections on the camera lens’ – but the crew of the Space Shuttle Atlantis don’t sound so convinced.
A spooky YouTube video appears to show three ‘orbs’ moving slowly around the Atlantis, as it floats in orbit during a 2006 mission.
The footage, which is a segment of the feed, begins with one of the astronauts describing to ground control what they’re seeing.

SCROLL DOWN FOR VIDEO

Does space junk fly in formation? Three 'orbs' were seen by Shuttle Atlantis crew members and footage of the objects has appeared on YouTube

The YouTube footage begins with the camera looking at the Atlantis cargo bay - but things soon take a turn for the strange

The unnamed crew member says: ‘It’s a structure that’s definitely not rigid. Doesn’t look like anything I’ve ever seen on the outside of the Shuttle, that’s for sure.’

He describes how the object ‘quickly moved to the nose of the orbiter, moving away at least 100 feet’.
For a few minutes nothing of note happens, but then at 4.45 the camera looks beyond the shuttle and focusses on three orbs that appear to be hovering in a triangular formation nearby.
The ground control commentator immediately passes them off as ‘reflections in the camera lens’ – but the shuttle crew members seem far less dismissive, with one confirming that they’re seeing ‘three or four objects’ and asking: ‘Can you confirm it’s just the one that’s moving?’

Mystery: Ground control ask the Atlantis crew members what they're seeing

Send off? The orbs appeared as the crew inspected the Shuttle before making a final descent

End of an era: Atlantis touched down at Nasa's Kennedy Space Center in Florida just before dawn on July 21, 2011, wrapping up the final mission of the 30-year space shuttle program

However, the footage, despite being mysterious, remains too indistinct for any conclusions to be drawn about whether E.T really was observing the shuttle mission.
Many YouTube users who’ve studied it firmly believe the crew are looking at space junk.
However, could E.T have been zooming around Seoul, recently?
A mysterious round white object was filmed whizzing around a passenger plane above the capital of South Korea on April 7.
The clip, which has also been uploaded to YouTube (see below), begins with the ‘craft’ at the bottom of the screen, keeping pace with the passenger plane.
But then it speeds up and rises in altitude before zipping off out of shot, just as the startled person filming it tries to zoom in for a closer look.
When the UFO accelerates he can be heard making some sort of exclamation, as if trying to draw someone’s attention to it.

Strange: The round, white UFO can be seen in the bottom right-hand corner of the picture

The video was uploaded by YouTube user ‘Crazybreakingnews’, who commented: ‘It looks a little bit strange and not really similar to the other videos. If it's really real and not a fake, it looks like a kind of military drone.’
Several YouTube users are convinced it’s a UFO of some sort, but others remain sceptical.
Psued0Name said: ‘When stabilised, it is easy to see what is going on with the video.
‘The edges of the UFO are not blurred like all of the other background objects, it seems like a separate effect from the background, and in fact you can see edge noise on the shape of the UFO indicating it's a fake.
‘It doesn't even look right if you start to look at it hard, especially slowed down frame by frame.’
User vicariousjojoe agreed, writing: ‘People, you should know by now what is fake and what's not. You can always tell by the way the camera moves and zooms.’
Possible UFO activity has recently been sighted much closer to home, with a star-gazer filming intriguing footage of a glowing UFO, which he says he spotted hovering over the Thames Estuary in February.
The man, identified only as Space999dude, recorded the phenomenon as he drove past the river at night, he said.
The mysterious, oval aircraft can be seen suspended in the air displaying several amber-gold lights of varying sizes.

Close Encounters in Antarctica
By Carlos Alberto Iurchuk

Note: This is the original text submitted to Brazil’s UFO magazine, edited by A.J. Gevaerd. The article appeared in Issue 177, May 2011.

The man with the thick beard drank his coffee slowly. Later he turned to look at me, saying deliberately: “Around April or May, the cook remarked casually that around 17:00 hours he saw a plane flying in absolute silence – at least he didn’t hear any sound whatsoever, being in the kitchen and all – approached the center of the bay, made an abrupt turn, and pulled away.”

It was on a cold afternoon, seated in a bar in the city of Buenos Aires, that I heard this story from the lips of Jose Raul Bortolamedi, who had been stationed at the Almirante Brown Argentinean Base in the Antarctic in 1981.

Raul continued his story in an almost solemn tone of voice, ignoring the hubbub surrounding us: “Its altitude was estimated as being relatively low, between 100 and 300 meters, and it turned approximately 45 degrees. The cook was startled by the silence and abruptness with which the maneuver was executed. There was no news about any expected flights, since arrivals of commercial or scientific flights, or those of any other nature, were generally announced.”

But that wasn’t the only unknown presence during his stay at the base. After drinking his coffee, he continued: “In the summer, while the necessary arrangements were being made for the departure of chemists and biologists at the base’s dock, the presence of an object similar to a bean, executing a falling leaf maneuver, was noticed directly over the base. The time it remained visible is hard to estimate, but it was between 2 to 5 minutes.”

A Pulsating Continent

Antarctica is a nearly circular continent, some 4500 kilometers in diameter, surrounding the South Pole. It has a surface area of 14 million square kilometers, but when the encircling seas freeze, its surface area extends to 30 million square kilometers. It is also for this reason that Antarctica is known as “the pulsating continent.”

It is also the last continent on our planet to be explored and populated by humans. It is hard to determine who was its official discoverer. Some say it was Spanish explorer Gabriel de Castilla, who reached 64 degrees South and saw land in those latitudes (which could have been any of the South Shetland Islands) according to the testimony of a Dutch mariner who sailed with him. Other historians give the nod to Dirk Gerritz, also Dutch, as possibly the first one to see the surface of the Antarctic as he sailed south to the Mar de Hoces (or the Drake Passage) in the vicinity of the South Shetland Islands in 1599.

Apparently, it is easier to establish who was the first to reach the South Pole. Two expeditions set out toward that goal in 1911: one of them was the Norwegian expedition under the command of Roald Amundsen; the other was Britsh, and led by Captain Robert Falcon Scott.

Amundsen employed Greenlandic sled dogs as his motor power. Scott, on the other hand, employed ponies during the first stage and then human power during the second. Roald Amundsen reached the South Pole on 14 December 1911; Scott arrived between 17-18 January 1913. While the Norwegian crew faced no further complications, poor planning and misfortune caused the five British explorers to perish during the return trip.

Currently, most of the signatories to the Antarctic Treaty maintain scientific research stations on Antarctica. Some of them operate year-round, while others are of a seasonal nature and only operate during the summer.

The Orkney Base, or Destacamento Naval Orcadas, located on Laurie Island in the South Orkneys, is the oldest Antarctic base in service and belongs to the Argentinean Republic, which operates it year-round through the Argentinean Navy. The weather station was originally set up by William Speirs Bruce, a Scotsman, in 1903, who later sold the facilities, instrument warehouse and measuring devices to the Argentinean government. President Julio Argentino Roca, through Decree No. 3073 of 2 January 1904, accepted the offer, authorizing the Oficina Meteorlógica Argentina to maintain the station.

A Continent of a Thousand and One Stories

As has occurred everywhere else on the planet, UFO stories emerged from the moment on which man first set foot on the Antarctic. This inhospitable land, however, has another type of story that has achieved great popularity among those who study strange phenomena. One of them suggests that at the heart of the continent, at the South Pole itself, there is an entrance to the so-called “Hollow Earth”.

This theory basically asserts, as its name suggests, that the center of the Earth is hollow, with a sort of internal Sun, and inhabited by a highly developed civilization. There would be two immense openings, several hundred kilometers in diameter, on the surface of the Earth to provide access to this place, and these openings would be at the poles. This civilization would avail itself of the openings to come to the surface, and its craft would be the UFOs that we currently witness.

While this theory has been readily accepted by many, it contradicts the teachings of current science. And as the reader may well imagine, none of the expeditions sent to the South Pole found any openings whatsoever.

One of the few bits of “evidence” shown in favor of the presence of a large opening in the Antarctic was the photo taken by the U.S. Essa-7 satellite on 23 November 1968, showing a hole measuring nearly 1000 kilometers in diameter. What really happened is that the satellite “compiled” global images by means of smaller images that later made up a mosaic, incorrectly interpreted as an “opening”. The circular black space is nothing more than the “blind” spot that the satellite is unable to see during its numerous passes.

As a curious side note, Jules Verne, the great author who predicted may technological breakthroughs and historic events such as a trip to the Moon, was also correct in stating that humans would never reach the center of the planet. The title of his book Journey to the Center of the Earth is a small trap aimed at ensnaring the readers’ curiosity, since the journey in question was only a hazardous tour “within the Earth’s crust” and the novel’s protagonists never reached the center of the Earth.

While this is not the main purpose of the Article, one cannot speak of the Antarctic and its legends without a brief mention of Nazis. Everyone is aware of the significant technical achievements of Nazi Germany. The V-1 and V-2 flying bombs, for instance, served as the foundation for developing rockets by the U.S. which later enabled man to reach the Moon. German contributions to aeronautics were equally significant, including the development of jet-propelled fighters and the creation of so-called “Flying Wings”.

In spite of this, some are willing to take matters a step further and state that the Nazis were able to develop true UFOs, going as far as to say that they created major bases in Antarctica to conceal all of this technology from the prying eyes of the Allies. In the final months of the war, when the collapse of the Third Reich was inevitable, many Nazis fled to these bases in submarines. Not only did they find shelter there – they pursued the development of these vessels. As one can imagine, according to this theory, all UFOs seen since that time not only in Antarctica but worldwide, are German in origin.

And in order to make the theory complete, any scientific expedition sent to Antarctica, mainly by the United States, is nothing more than a smokescreen to conceal its true intentions: a military expedition to find the Nazi bases and seize their technology.

Setting these stories aside, let us return to the UFO sightings.

Official Acknowledgement by the Argentinean Navy

The most significant incident involving an unidentified flying object, mainly due to its consequences, occurred on 3 July 1965 at the Argentinean Naval Base on Decepción Island. According to the story told by Lt. Cmdr. Daniel Perissé, who was in charge of the base, they saw an object moving silently. “While it seemed solid, there was a certain lack of precision to its shape, sometimes lenticular and at others circular. Its visual aspect, of course, could have been affected by an atmospheric refraction phenomenon that could have resulted in an apparent deformation of its characteristics.”

What is most notable is that the Argentinean Navy acknowledged this event in two communiqués that were issued subsequently. The total absence of sound and variations in speed are highlighted, along with the fact that “it remained suspended for one minute.” While sightings of this flying object occurred at night, the meteorological conditions for the area, according to the initial communiqué could be “considered exceptional for the time of year.”

It should also be noted that it was seen at the Destacamento Naval Argentino Orcadas, located on South Orkney, and “at the moment in which the object passed over that point. Two variometers (magnetic field readers) in service at the time recorded disturbances to the magnetic field, captured on the tapes of both devices,” according to the second Argentinean naval communiqué.

I would not like to miss the opportunity to pay tribute to Daniel Perissé, who retired with the rank of Commander, and who sadly passed away in 2008. After the incident, and for the rest of his life, he participated actively in UFO research, cooperating with all ufologists who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Many Surprises Await

It is clear that the UFO phenomenon is global in reach. By this I mean that there isn’t a corner of the planet where the presence of these distinctive craft hasn’t been reported. Therefore, it can be expected that such sightings would also exist in Antarctica. No sightings whatsoever would be truly strange.

Antarctica is the least explored continent, meaning that there are many things to be discovered in this corner of the planet. Perhaps not entrances to the center of the Earth, or hidden installations decorated with swastikas. But they will nonetheless be discoveries that will surprise us all, to a greater or lesser degree. And why not. Perhaps Antarctica is one of those places where UFOs go to conceal themselves (where are the UFOs when they are nowhere to be seen. Beyond their origin, its true that the scarce presence of human beings in the white continent makes it an ideal place to go unnoticed. But not forever...

MUFON Alien Abduction and Human Mutilations Part 1 through 3

This Presentation is given by Butch Witkowsk a 27 year veteran homicide detective now a volunteer investigator for MUFON. What he presented at the annual Pennsylvania Local MUFON conference on human bodies found mutilated like the cattle will shock you, very graphic details given.

Human mutilation cases are done with laser precision and the same organs and tissues that are seen taken from animal mutilation cases are identical in the human victims of alien surgical mutilation. Victims are kept alive while organs, blood, and tissues are extracted. This would be horribly painful for the unfortunate victims.

2.7 million people abducted or missing every year. 30,000 of these people are never found or heard of again. This includes men women and children who go missing with out a trace each and every year on the planet Earth. Where could so many of these missing go?

Deputy Terminated for investigatin UFOs, animal mutilations

At the recent 2012 International UFO Congress, Chuck Zukowski and his sister Debbie Ziegelmeyer sat down with Open Minds and discussed his 2011 termination as a reserve deputy as a result of his paranormal investigations.

On February 11, 2011 two deputies went to the home of Chuck Zukowski to relieve him of his badge, gun and ID, handing him a termination letter ending his eight year stint as a reserve sheriff's deputy in El Paso County, Colorado. The letter begins, "The termination is a result of you conducting paranormal and unidentified flying object investigations into animal mutilations..."

Zukowski has been conducting paranormal investigations for decades, many of which are documented on his website, www.ufonut.com. He is also a family man and successful microchip engineer. However, for the last eight years he has put aside time to help out the El Paso County Sherriff's Department as a volunteer reserve deputy.

UFO: Did Jackie Gleason view UFO bodies?
UFO News and Stories

Gleason and Nixon were good pals. Gleason played a big part in Nixon's re-election.

NEW YORK - The clamorous cry To the moon. ALice" frequently delivered on the
"Honeymooners" by the late, great Jackie Gleason, may have been inspired in
part by the comic's fascination with outer space.

Gleason was an avowed believer in UFOs and, according to his ex-wife
Beverly McKittrick, he even got involved in some spaced-out exploits with his
friend Richard Nixon.

Beverly was 37-year-old divorcee with a great golf game when Jackie
met her at Miami country club. Their four year marriage ended in 1974
In her unpublished biography of the funnyman entitled "The Great
One,"Beverly, Gleason's second spouse, describes a bizarre trip Jackie took with
the then President in 1973 to Homestead AFB in Florida to see what see says
were bodies of four dead space aliens recovered by the Air Force.

The aliens were supposedly embalmed and displayed on operating tables
and classified as top-secret material. Gleason and Nixon visited the base under
extremely tight security, she says.

"The significance of the information is tremendous," said Mike
Luckman, director of the UFO research Center in New York. "The four bodies that
Gleason saw were probably the same ones the the Army recovered in 1947 at
Roswell, N.M. We want to establish that link."

Gleason had a lifelong interest in the supernatural and accumulated one
of the largest private libraries of esoteric and psychic literature in the
country.

He even named his Peekskill N.Y. home "The Mothership" and had
architects build everything in the round to resemble a flying saucer.
Said Luckman: "Most of the furniture was circular. So was the garage,
which he called the Scout Ship."

Informant News Note: Gleason is linked to this story by several sources and as we find them we will post them here as well. Jackie was a huge supporter of UFO research in his own way. With his buddies like Nixon, it's almost certain Gleason was privy to some exotic objects and sights. Bill Knell, a somewhat discredited researcher now days, used to display a drawing that Gleason allegedly drew for him during a visit to his fathers house. Knell has never produced the document again to my knowledge but perhaps this bit of his many stories at least may be true. Gleason was an avid UFO and Alien researcher so as we find more material on the great one we shall post it on Informant News.
